    A black and white microfilm reproduction is made of a person or their photograph and accompanying text data. A sheet of multicolor photographic paper then is exposed to the black and white image carried on the microfilm and to another color film carrying a multicolor security pattern, mark or the like. The paper then is developed to produce the document having a black and white image of the person to be identified and accompanying text data together with overlying multicolor security pattern. The security pattern has lines that vary in color along their lengths independently of one another.

    The image relates to the field of producing identity documents, such as driver ID or identity card, based on reproducing a person’s image on a document from a photograph or from an original.
    The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of protection of the certificate against its forgery.
    The method of making an ID is to obtain a copy from a black and white or color photograph of a person with data about him. This copy is then copied onto multicolor photographic paper. By appropriately filtering light on multicolor paper, a black and white or color image can be obtained. After that, the image of the desired color images copied to paper. Copying is carried out in such conditions, under which the desired color image is obtained. The paper is then developed.

    METHOD FOR PREPARING A CERTIFICATE, for example, a driver’s license or an identity card, by which the image of the object with the corresponding data about it and the background are photographed on photographic paper, after which they are shown photographic paper, which means that to increase the degree of protection of credentials from falsification, images of an object with relevant data about it and background are applied sequentially to multicolor photographic paper, while the background image consists of several colors.
